About the Historic Buford Manor

The Historic Buford Manor has a long, rich history in downtown Buford, Georgia. Originally built in 1872 as the home of H.H. (Harvey) and Adele Bell Beard and their two children, Madelyn and Billy, this structure is the oldest building in the City of Buford that still remains in its original location.

The home has seen many renovations over the past century. A major rejuvenation was completed in 1998, followed by a final remodel in 2005—restoring its welcoming appearance and bringing the home to its current manor status.
